Financial Literacy was taught by Mrs. Beck. This class is a half the year course. You don't really do much in the class but you learn a lot. I think that everyone should take this class. I would help out many young students in life. There was a lot of valuable things that were taught in financial literacy. I was expecting to learn about how to handle money and have to be financially stable after high school.
There is so much that I really took in from that class. Her grading policy was to do her work and it would go into a 40% or a 10% category.Technology was used by we would go to the computer lab and do Everfi which is a site that also helps reteach and gives you an understanding of what is going on. We would do Everfi one every two weeks for a grade.
I think that class is the most important class and on that you will always remember. That class is the only class that a student will actually use outside of school. What I liked about the class was when we had the opportunity to act like we were buying a house and we were on a budget. I felt that it helped me get a perspective of what it would be like. I thought Mrs. Beck was a great teacher and she was pretty chill.
