Tech Article: Apple Fixes Security Problems

Security experts say Apple has patched a hole that could have exposed sensitive information to hackers. If this problem is left unfixed, hackers could potentially read private communications sent over Apple devices. Apple recommends that people with Apple products should update their software to protect themselves from getting hacked.  

Educational Technology and Copyright Law

This article on Educational Technology and Copyright Law is very interesting. Copyright is a United States federal law that protects the original item such as pictures or written work. Most of the pictures and anything you get from the internet is copyrighted. If you do use something from the internet make sure you give credit to the author. Fair copyrighted is making copies and can be used for classrooms.

• He posted a tweet saying that it has become all chaos. 
• In LA Times they say the game has become too addictive.
• He is going to continue to make more games.

Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy was taught by Mrs. Beck. This class is a half the year course. You don't really do much in the class but you learn a lot. I think that everyone should take this class. I would help out many young students in life.There was a lot of valuable things that were taught in financial literacy. I was expecting to learn about how to handle money and have to be financially stable after high school.

There is so much that I really took in from that class. Her grading policy was to do her work and it would go into a 40% or a 10%  category.Technology was used by we would go to the computer lab and do Everfi which is a site that also helps reteach and gives you an understanding of what is going on. We would do Everfi one every two weeks for a grade.

I think that class is the most important class and on that you will always remember. That class is the only class that a student will actually use outside of school. What I liked about the class was when we had the opportunity to act like we were buying a house and we were on a budget. I felt that it helped me get a perspective of what it would be like. I thought Mrs. Beck was a great teacher and she was pretty chill.

Tech Article: Apps that make you MONEY!!!

• Almost everyone has a smartphone which allows you download apps. 
• Why not make money off it. 
• There are apps out there that offer money but be careful its not a scam. 
• All of Apples apps have to pass a requirement which keeps most scam artist out and Google play does a fair job or keep them out.
•  If an app sounds to good to be true it probably is. 
• For you to make money you have to do a series a small tasks, not that hard. for example would be to take a photo, answer some questions, etc. 
• The money is not that much but at least you make cash on the side.
