  • BAT is and aircraft.
  • It is 35 ft wide.
  • It's an unmanned, helium-filled, cylindrical blimp wrapped around three spinning blades that turn wind into electricity.
  • BAT stands for buoyant airborne turbine.
  • It helps bring life-saving electricity.
  • Its like a windmill but to the next level.
  • Towers are often too low to catch the best winds.
  • By flying remote-controlled wind turbines where winds are stronger and more consistent.

Article Reflection

The article is about how to use social media in a positive way. You should think before you post a picture or tweet something. There is someone always watching you and employers are also looking. You should lay off the cursing and use it for the right reasons. Don't feed into the negativity and be positive when others try to put you down. I agree with this article. Nothing is truly private. If someone wanted to find something out about you they could. The main point is to be careful and have social media smarts.

Tech Article: Wink Glasses

  • Developed by Japan's Masunaga Optical Manufacturing
  • Wink Glasses remind computer users to blink every so often to avoid eye strain.
  • A sensor detects how long you go without blinking.
  • After five seconds of staring blankly into the screen, the right lens fogs, obscuring your vision until you blink again.
  • The glasses hold an eight hour charge, and even plug into a USB outlet for extra juice.
  • They cost $150.

RSS Feed

Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
I selected the sites I chose because they are what interested me and makes it easier for me to be alert with what is going on around me. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
It was relatively easy; it just took some time.
Which sites were your favorites?
Bergen County Jobs and ESPN were my favorites
What else can you use RSS feeds for?
You can use RSS feeds to do a lot of things like to keep all your sites in one place.
How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
It is not very likely because I don't like to go on the computer and it doesn't make much sense to me.

Tech Article: The Nod Bluetooth Ring

  • If you've ever dreamed of waving your hand and controlling your thermostat, TV, computer, garage, or lights, well, Nod is a Bluetooth ring that shares that dream.
  • It's a $149 gadget available for preorder today that'll ship this fall.
  • The Nod needs to be sized to an individual finger.
  • The ring has a dark plastic outer surface, and surgical-grade steel inside.
  • Once charged, it lasts about a day.
  •  Inside are a variety of motion sensors, including a nine-axis accelerometer, plus two Cortex M3 processors.
  • On the outer edge is a touch-bar and extra button controls.
  • The ring is worn over your forefinger, and it works like a superpowered pointer; point and move your finger, and a cursor moves around wherever you're aiming.
  • The one thing Nod lacks is a microphone. If Nod had a microphone, it might not be as waterproof.
  • Nod's founders claim Nod will work with LG TVs from 2012 and later, Macs and PCs, as well as Android and iOS.

Favorite Resturant

My favorite restaurant is the International Buffet. They are located in Bergenfield NJ. I like to eat at that restaurant because I can eat anything I want or in the mood for. They serve everything and anything you can think of. They have crab legs, chicken, sushi, and many other cultural foods; their menu is endless. My favorite thing to eat when I go there is crab legs, lo mien, chicken fingers, and fries. If the International Buffet were to closed down I don't where I would go. Their prices are decent and is not too expensive.
